Answers about Presented — pricing, contact import, reminders, friends and wishlists, device support, and privacy.
- Is Presented free?
- Yes, core features are completely free. An optional upgrade unlocks additional features.
- Does it sync with my iPhone contacts?
- Yes. Import all birthdays from your contacts in one tap. Duplicates are detected automatically.
- Which devices are supported?
- iPhone and iPad running iOS 26 or later. Presented adapts to the screen it is on — a split view on iPad, a single column on iPhone.
- Can I customize when I get reminded?
- Yes, set reminders at any interval you choose, on top of the defaults.
- Will it send me too many notifications?
- You're in control. Default reminders are 1 month, 1 week, and 1 day before each birthday. All adjustable.
- Does it work without an internet connection?
- Yes, you only need an internet connection to sync with other devices.
- What does the paid upgrade include?
- The paid plan lets you save more than 5 people, enable or disable notifications, add new notification types, and customize reminders per person.
- How do friends and wishlists work?
- Pick a handle, then find people by @handle or name and send a friend request. Nothing is shared until they accept. Once they do, you both see each other's birthday automatically, and friends can see the wishlist on your profile.
- Do I need an account to use Presented?
- No. Signing in is entirely optional and the whole app works without an account. You only need to sign in to use friends and wishlists.
- Can I block or report someone?
- Yes. You can block anyone, report anything, and manage everyone you have blocked from Settings. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
- Does Presented show ads or sell my data?
- No ads, ever, and we do not sell your data. Analytics are off unless you turn them on yourself.
